P.Ponk O-470-50 in a Cessna 182 NW Air Repair will install your new or overhauled engine with attention to detail. Hoses are replaced or manufactured to new standards, baffling is replaced or reconditioned. New or overhauled accessories are installed per the customers request. The exhaust system is inspected and replaced or repaired as nessasary. The motor mount is inspected, repaired and painted. This attention to detail and the quality work will allow the aircraft owner to go to TBO with the minimal of maintenance required under the cowling.

Step 1 The old engine is removed and firewall cleaned and wiring repaired as nessasary.

Step 2 The reconditioned motor mount is installed

Step 3 The new engine is uncrated and inspected, shown is an O-470 modified by P.Ponk Aviation with O-520 cylinders which boost the power by approximately 45hp.

Step 4 Baffling and accesories are installed.

Step 5 Engine and exhaust system are installed. We recomend an engine monitor system with new engine installations, yellow wiring in the picture is for the EGT and CHT sensors.

Ready to run The engine is ran and checked for leaks and normal operation, the next step is to install the cowling and FLY.
